I’m immediately suspicious of people that don’t want to discuss politics in today’s world. You literally have to be a carefree ostrich.

Sounds like you’re asking yourself a philosophical question. Some people actually care about things.
Politics in a political or news sub is fine. Politics in, say, a technology sub or a gaming one is just annoying.
