I have been looking to consolidate all of my development work on to a single linux system that I can access (with a full GUI like it was a local machine) on multiple computers on my network (laptops, desktops, etc.)

Is the best setup for this creating a proxmox server and connecting to it from all of my devices? I tried doing this through unraid but I was surprised that the stability was not there through ubuntu and the GUI interface they use.
