hordes of protesters and lines of cops

Wonder which side is being taken here…

“2020 snuck up on us,” Snelling acknowledged in a recent Tribune interview. “Let’s tell the cold, hard truth. We did not have the level of preparedness to deal with something that was that random that popped up on us.”

“We were murdering people so often on the street in broad daylight, we didn’t know it would be that one specific murder that has some repercussions.”

    Later, he was heard explaining:

“Guys, it’ll be okay this time. We’ve had decades to train our cops to more effectively treat civilians as enemy combatants and to stock up on surplus military gear. This time we’ve got the weaponry to keep the rabble in hand.”

Really, I don’t understand why they would choose Chicago of all places. Make it easier to group “The Chicago DNC Police Riots” together in future textbooks?

The idea that either event would be featured in a textbook below a university political science course is a bit of a dream anyway.

But I can only imagine the exam confusion.

Excuse me sir is this about 1968 or 2024?

Though your brother’s bound and gagged And they’ve chained him to a chair Won’t you please come to Chicago Just to sing

In a land that’s known as freedom How can such a thing be fair Won’t you plaese come to Chicago For the help we can bring

We can change the world - Re-arrange the world It’s dying - to get better
