      Many would probably give to the benefit of the doubt that it was just saying what it was doing.

      I’m sure it helps mapping the area, but yeah, I don’t think I want that, especially when you can’t trust the device.

      Obstacle avoidance and mapping. If it were all done locally without an Internet connection it would be fine, but of course it’s gotta be connected to the cloud for profit reasons.

      I mean, would be useful to remote control it to keep an eye on your pets or something like that. Although as long as those device makers don’t take security seriously, you’re better off getting one that relies on lidar instead.

    Yay, proprietary garbage on wheels equipped with camera and remote control, but not security to accompany them. Just what I wanted!
