    modern asymmetrical warfare.

if my ancestors had suicide bombers instead of literally sticks I might not be mostly white.

In this context liberals are just less conservative conservatives.

(And seeing where D is going, I’d say that’s true in the usual context also.)

Looking at the current admin and the Palestine situation, I don’t see how it makes a difference if D leadership care slightly more than R leadership about what is going on in Gaza. (Though I’m voting for Kamala anyhow, for the reasons you’d think.) They clearly aren’t doing anything about it beyond some exceptionally low energy lip service - and how many months did it take to even get to that point?

But I have to admit in a vacuum I personally wouldn’t have titled the meme that way. It’s Colonizers.

I also don’t think it’s low effort. It’s a worthwhile reminder that for as long as there are indigenous and less technologically developed populations located on land that wealthier and/or more technologically developed peoples want to exploit, we’ll just keep making the same cruel decision over and over.

you’d think a person posting on leftymemes would understand that the OP is criticising liberals from the left

The same way that AT THE TIME everyone rooted for the cowboys, not the Indians (Native Americans, but taking a little poetic license); everyone rooted for the glorious British Empire, not any the the “backwards 3rd world countries” they invaded; etc. The key is that public opinion is swayed by those that own the media, and that means rich old white men.

Zionism fundamentally conflicts with Liberal ideas of oppression and hierarchy. Its hard for them to understand that a historically (and to a lesser extent currently) marginalized group (Jewish people) could perpetuate the very oppression and pain they experienced. Israel is also the “civilized” Western country that “supports queer rights and neurodivergant people” (fun fact: Israel has a special military branch where they make vulnerable and often mentally disabled people commit horrific crimes against humanity). In addition it conflicts with the Liberal idea that Judaism is a “progressive religion” leading to cognitive dissidence (can personally not confirm, Judaism is just as regressive as any other religion. I would know, ive been Jewish my entire life).

    It’s greed and propaganda.

Just the same way there are (only some??) people now saying ‘genocide and inflicting deliberate suffering & destruction/eradication is bad’ in relation to Palestine, there were non-racists & non-robbing people at the time of the other pictured “conflicts”.
Not even that few of them (bcs humans tend to know what caused suffering & what suffering is), but overshadowed by the spoils & triumphs of “war”.

But the formula remains the same, designate a group of people as less than human/incompetent savages (or whether the Zionist correct term for Palestinians is now), repeatedly tell people that have nothing to do with them how bad (they need them to think) they are, which pacifies the majority into silent compliancy & complicity.
    Step 2: bloody profit.

Only once everything is raped & pillaged the propaganda loses it’s fuel & the remaining human voices remain, the voices that have been saying the same thing from the start.

Tl;dr: generic genocide in progress “good”, historically looking at genocide (by the same fucking people that genocided in the first place) “bad”.

Don’t let documented cases of local Muslims attacking local Jewish communities going as far as the 1800 confuse your hate!

They are native to the region. The prevailing theory derived from genetic testing best estimates Levantine Arab descendants and before that Canaanite. It also shows their genetics are consistent with the other natives in the region, meaning they came from there. But dont let facts split your hate.

Do the Jewish people have any genetic history linking them there too?

(I’m not pro Israel, nor am I setting up an argument. I don’t know and am genuinely curious)

That I dont know. I do know that due to Judaism being a religion, that has caused more mixing in their genetics with groups from other regions. From the same Wikipedia source it basically says their genetics are more fanned out depending on the diaspora.

Seems you dont trust peer reviewed processes. Notice you also had nothing to defend your statement so you attacked my source. Nice.
