I respect your right to have your own opinion but that in no way means that I need to respect the opinion itself.

I will respect an opinion that is thought out, measured and based in reality.
Those are, unfortunately, few and far between at the moment. All other opinions are granted as much respect as the idea the opinion is based off of deserves.
And frequently that is ‘none’.
I will show respect if I can tell it was well thought out and I can follow how they came to that conclusion based on the evidence they used. Otherwise, nah.
