This group formed in Liverpool in 1999 with English, Scottish and Bulgarian members. They have released 7 studio albums, to date. At times they are reminiscent of the sound of more recent Metric tunes, but I don’t know if there’s any connection, it’s probably coincidental.
This song slotted in at #137 on Pitchfork’s “The Top 500 Tracks of the 2000s” list.
