I recently played through GW1, and yeah, 100% worth a replay. Really fun. Some of the last few missions were surprisingly hard. Still has an active community too.
I’m pretty excited by this.
Maybe it’ll be really successful and they’ll finally be motivated to add official controller support to gw2.
Edit: shame it couldn’t have come out this week though, I have a few days off to relax and game.
I opened 12 years of birthday gifts this week. 🥹
Was also a little bummed I couldn’t play it during some downtime this week.
I remember playing GW1 when it came out and it’s one of the few MMOs I’ve played and enjoyed. I hated WoW, never got far with EVE or Star Trek Online.
Maybe I will try this for some nostalgia.

GW1 is worth playing but it’s hardly an MMO
My friends are excited and want to do a play through for the first time. I was super hyped but i realised it doesnt add or change anything so that killed my hype instantly. I really need AU servers to enjoy the game again. High ping just sucks so badly in gw1.
They said there was servers in Asia that should help with ping for au and the game is pretty resistans to high ping because of how it is built. That is atleast what they said on the live stream I watched.
Its still 120 ping and feels bad for PvP or interupt/prot
