Hi all, here’s my first ever mechanical board for work! Very excited to wave goodbye to the current horrendous membrane keyboard that sits in my office. I’m already planning to swap the linear Reds for a silent tactile, currently looking at the Durock Shrimps - given how much this already cost me, that will wait a bit…

Thanks! A bit more fun than blanks, the other alternative I was looking for as I type Colemak

Ooo, I really like those keycaps. Fun colors! I wish I had my function and misc keys memorized - I’m stuck with labeled keycaps so I know where F10, Insert, and all that stuff is.

Yeah, the gaps in the board help to locate them and I like that there is some color coding with these. You could try printing the layout and practice touch typing

Very nice. I was tempted by the Q10 recently, how are you finding the alice layout to type on?

I’m still adapting to it, but as one who is also still learned touch typing, the separation of the two halves helps to build confidence with the finger positioning. I’m liking it a lot!
