The first 2/3rds of the movie is really good. The last part is pretty bad. Overall I enjoyed it.

The Avengers story was just annoying. They literally saved the earth from complete enslavement to an alien invasion, and they must be held accountable for the damage they caused while doing that? Come the fuck on! They didn’t cause that damage, the alien invasion did. Tony and Bruce are supposed to be like the smartest people in the entire world, and neither of them could respond with that basic logic? I hate that fucking storyline.
You don’t sound like an asshole. You sound like a really well adjusted person.
It’s been a decade since I have done professional computer repair, but the lack of knowledge that people had always shocked me. I don’t mean surprised me, I mean outright shocked me with their ignorance. They just don’t care, and don’t want to care. Computers and the internet aren’t that important to A LOT of people, and no, they’re not all old.
Oh thanks! I’ll check it out.
I’ve had people link articles to me for their argument that actually substantiated mine.
I get classified as all three depending on who I’m talking to.
This is the worst news I’ve heard all decade.
I suppose it’s possible I’m just lucky, but my last two cars have been Chevys. Maybe it’s an issue with their newer cars? My car is almost a decade old now.
Well I’m really glad that I chose an AMD Ryzen 5 7600 then! I literally just ordered parts for a new PC a couple hours ago and didn’t know anything about this. I was very close to getting the i5 14500 instead because it benches a little higher.
Where is all of this Chinese car propaganda coming from? It’s all over the Fediverse. I’ve never seen such a concerted effort to promote a country’s industry before.
This is not my experience at all. Chevy makes outstanding infotainment centers, backup cameras, car controls, and interiors in general. Their engines and suspensions are pretty top tier too. There was a time when they were cutting all the corners and making crap cars, but that was a long time ago.
Is Anne Hathaway a vampire, or an elf with ear surgery? She is ageless.
I’d definitely buy that candle if they sold them at Cost Plus or Bed Bath and Beyond.
The average person doesn’t care. The average person doesn’t even know what a browser is. They think a browser is The Internet.
Debian is about as perfect as you can get for a headless server.
You have me curious again after hearing you’ve tried everything. Maybe I’ll give it a whirl. It’s not like I can’t switch to Arch later. It’ll be just as much of a pain in the ass later as it will sooner, and I just might find a new favorite OS. LOL. Plus, I do dig Gnome, and I think it’s probably a better DE for a HTPC than KDE.
Yes, I’m going to use it as a couch console, web browser player for MLB games, and a streaming machine. I did a bunch of reading after posting my last comment and decided that I’ll just stick with Arch. Fedora sounds alluring for the simplicity, but I think I’ll miss the AUR and the rolling release cycle too much. I finally pulled the trigger this afternoon and bought the components after looking at them in my cart on Newegg for a week straight. It should be a pretty rad system
That’s great to hear. I’d miss the AUR, but I think I’ll just try Fedora out for this build. I want to play with the computer, not tinker with the OS.
From the little research I’ve done, I don’t think that I want an immutable OS. Sure, I only want to use it as a HTPC today, but what about tomorrow when I find some obscure thing I need to do that requires me to change some things?
