Between my desktop (i7-12700KF, 64GB of DDR4 3600MT/S, Copper modded EVGA RTX 3090, 1000W power supply), 2 Power Edge servers with 2 750W power supplies each, heartened my entire old apartment.
During the summer it sucked 😆

I have oddly enough downsized. I have a few rack mount dell power edge servers, and one is fairly beefy (dual Xeons, 180GB of ddr4, 24 bays for 2.5 inch drives) bu5 the power cost and noise.
Now I run a few small form factor lenovo PCs, with a standalone NAS, and a few Raspberry pis.
I run 30ish containers on one lenovo.
If i ever get a house, I’ll bring back the power edges.

Yes, my keyboard I use acts up if i do not hit the apostrophe

System partition currently

Glad I song use Ubuntu.
I don’t use GRUB anymore, and I actively use BTRFS and LUKS. Edit: fixed auto correct
Yagni has piqued my interest. Thank you

Here is the GitHub, however before I install it and test it I’d like to understand if AI was used, and what risks of using it are.

I quite like the option! I do love tasker, but if i only need auto tunneling this does it quite well!

Have you tried [https://github.com/zaneschepke/wgtunnel](WG Tunnel)
I use this WG client and it has options for auto-tunneling
Yeah, MusicBee is awesome. I wish it was on Linux too. I couldn’t find a player I liked well enough for a local library, so now I use Navidrome to host my library and use Feishin for playback.

It varies depending on use for me.
Arch on my desktop and main laptop. I use both frequently for gaming or working on my home lab.
Fedora Server for my two mini PCs. They both run docker containers.
Raspberry PI OS on one Pi for pihole, and a few other services.
DietPI on my other Pi for MotiomEye.
I test more bleeding edge stuff including testing repo for Arch on another laptop.
Easy fix, use what works for you.
KDE works for me. I dont like GNOME. Doesn’t work the way I want it to. No hate, it works for some, it doesn’t work for others.
Nothing to get upset over.

I dont have any complaints. I’ll trade a little performance for a bit more security/privacy

As an IronFox user, I can say I quite like it. Its a good Firefox based browser. Left off where Mull ended. Glad it exists
Also, may I suggest Thunder for Lemmy as well.
I fully intend om trying Comaps.
+1 for Aegis. Been using it for years.
For SMS when I have to use it QUICK has been great
Molly is fantastic too. I like that the database locks after a set time, I have mine 12 hours, but that’s a great feature to have. I also appreciate the notification system not relying on googles. I plan to setup unified push at some point too.
Self hosted: nextcloud, immich both fantastic. I wish there wasn’t a restriction on sideloaded apps using Android auto because I’d love to use Tempo for Navidrome. Currently I use Symfonium.
Sorry for it being out of order
Awe you think you’re important enough to follow and downvote lol
Any plugins you’d recommend specifically?
You’re one of the first people I have ever heard who loves GIMP. Usually people in that world are brainwashed into Adobes products.
I appreciate GIMP and other FOSS offerings.
I started my Linux journey out or curiosity as a preteen, didn’t stick with it. Dabbled in college wi5h Linux. Ultimately I started down a privacy rabbit hole, started hating Microsoft the more I learned. Switched to Linux. Sure, I started using Linux for my machines out of hatred for Microsoft and Apple (and google…) But ultimately, now I just love Linux.
I have freedom to do what I want, how I want. I love supporting open source initiatives.
I didn’t say it didn’t matter.
Using what metric does this make you a “somewhat normal computer user”?
How is it a “sacrifice” to stay on Linux here? How is this at all tied to being the fault of Linux?
Sounds like you are complaining to complain. Metaphorically shaking your cane at the sky and yelling at clouds. Computing has gone up in price, and things change. Something we all have to get used to.
