I’ve been on Firefox since 2004, trying Waterfox right now and it seems very nice. I was surprised to see that it supports Firefox Sync, took me less than ten minutes to make it comfy. Now I’m wondering about that; perhaps I should disable Firefox Sync?

After a few months of tariffs, it’s going to be very obvious which products have American components, as their prices rise dramatically next to the unaffected all-Canadian equivalents.

I bought an Xbox series controller, it’s too small, the triggers are too stiff, not very impressed, the separately sold rechargeable battery pack is lame. Bought a DualSense on sale and it is better in every way. Haven’t touched the Xbox controller since. It really feels like they cut corners on quality to encourage sales of the ridiculously overpriced Elite controllers.

BlueSky is specifically designed as a drop-in Twitter replacement, it’s an easy transition, and tons of Twitter users have been advertising it for a long time. The Fediverse is comparatively obscure.
