Its possible to make capitalism work for the common good, you just gotta set up the incentives correctly. Land value taxes & UBI!
The solution, as always, is a land value tax and UBI. Don’t need to fret over needing an education to live comfortably if you can already afford and place to live and food.

Specifically epistemology and concrete notions of degrees of truth and how truth is approximated by science.

I’ve never heard of communism being an economic framework before, I thought it just meant a system without capitalism or a state. Do you have something short I could read about communism being an economic framework?

My conspiracy theory alarm bells are goin off lol. Also how does lowering prescription drug prices not address some “real need” of some portion of the public? Not to mention the infrastructure bill which put a ton of money towards renewable energy, which is a step towards stopping global warming… You may argue these steps aren’t proportional to what actually needs to be done, but looking pragmatically its kinda hard to do really good stuff when half the country (and thus half the legislature) is whipped into a populist fervor, which you seem to also support given the main thing populists hate are the elite!)
Well, you already got them aplenty, so why not go all the way? Maybe people’l change their mind!
Both are fine so long as we have a complete land value tax funding direct economic redistribution
