Or should I get a MacBook?3·7 months agoRefurbished ARM-based MacBook Air will be suitable as long as you get 16 or 32 GB configuration. Anything under 16 is unusable with docker, a browser, an IDE, and LSP running at the same time.
ARM-based Macs can run Linux thanks to Asahi Linux.
But I love and use Mac OS. It’s really good for development work.

Here’s where I’m at. After a bit of fiddling, I managed to get Rustacean LSP working.
I also used ChatGPT to translate my existing .vim config to lua.

Ecmascript is classic, but WebScript might be better going forward.
I find Python easy to just code a prototype with. But I find Rust easier to get right.
