Key Points

  • The presidential campaign of Donald Trump said it raised a record $34.8 million from small-dollar donors in the hours after his criminal hush money case conviction in New York.
  • Trump was found guilty by a Manhattan Supreme Court jury of falsifying business records related to his scheme with Michael Cohen to pay off porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.

Honestly, good. Squeeze those stupid motherfuckers dry. Because when they’ve given everything they have to Trump and they get nothing in return except deeper into poverty, that’s when they will feel the pain they deserve.

But the depth of their devotion to someone who gives zero fucks about them is truly astounding.

I agree with the sentiment completely, but they’ll be even more poor and desperate. Which makes them easier to control/manipulate and even more likely to accept whatever scapegoat their golden calf god tells them is the cause of their poverty.

I just made another comment elsewhere that said essentially I don’t think democracy works when the wealth disparity gets too high, which at its root is pretty similar to what you’re saying here, so I totally agree with your point.

It can if set up right. It’s just not set up right.

I would love for potential politicians to be completely anonymous. You get their political platform, their voting history, and that’s it. The candidates would be randomly selected from a database of people with the necessary qualifications to hold office, so no one can really buy their way in.

A significant portion of America supported the fucking Nazis so yeah, I think it’s clear we didn’t learn shit. Not even the stupid fuckers who saw it happen in front of their eyes.

And maybe the wrong people learned more about how to manipulate others.

Creating desperate and angry people is generally not a good thing for anyone even if it might provide some temporary emotional satisfaction.

There’s a lot of folks out there with tons of money that give plenty and won’t get anywhere close to poverty. Trump has a tectonic donor base that has money.

I’ve subscribed to the theory white supremacists backed by Christian Nationalist Billionaires have fueled this entire conflict and culture war.

First the pedophiles infiltrated the church, then the White Supremacy movement saw how easy it was and joined in.

Purely speculative other then project 2025 as proof
