minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink25•edit-23 months agoIn my state (Wisconsin), it’s considered a lemon if it’s no more than a year old and under warranty, and: It has a serious defect the manufacturer or dealer(s) didn’t fix in four tries, or It has one or more defects that prevent you from using it for 30 days or more (the 30 days need not be consecutive). Cybertruck probably won’t trigger the first clause, but I wonder about that second one.

minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink5•3 months agoIt means the manufacturer is required to offer to buy it back. If the manufacturer resells it after fixing the issues, there must be paperwork attached and given to the next purchasers stating that it was a lemon.
