      I mean you could say the Steam Deck is “just KDE on Arch”.

      The difference is how they implement it and what it’s used for. This could be huge for “apps” on the Steam Deck, for example. Or it could be a quirky experiment or feature nobody uses. Time will tell.

          Fair, but a valve implementation could mean a good implementation in game mode. That would be nice and be easier for people not willing to touch desktop mode.

                  Because I realized the other user wasn’t going to discuss logically, they were going to use false equivalence and after I replied I found it pointless to try and discuss with someone who would do that, so I tried to delete it, except I still was getting replies, so I edited it
