For those who don’t know, Revolt is an open-source alternative to Discord, basically what Lemmy is to Reddit. It’s still a bit rough around the edges, but is very accepting of feedback and emphasizes community input. One of the biggest draws is that a lot of the Discord Nitro perks (such as making custom emojis) are free there.
Pros and cons of this vs matrix?
Never heard of matrix before, but I checked it out and I noticed that you have to pick a client in order to use it. Here you just sign up, without jumping through additional hoops.
Also, why did matrix steal the Adult Swim logo? Lol
