I suspect there are handhelds you can buy off aliexpress that are good enough to run PS2/GCN games. Unless China is heavily leaning on making more games like Genshin, Honkai, that are very resource intensive, I don’t see the point of adding more power to android hardware

Oh yea there are already. I was alluding the the Retroid Pocket 5 for $200. It runs basically all of GC and PS2 and a lot of switch and winlator.
