      Yeah I had lots of problems with Winmodems on Slackware 20 years ago, definitely a bad distro too!

        I switched to Ubuntu then and has no issues since.

        So yeah.

            Yeah, switched from Ubuntu to Gentoo eventually, since Ubuntu went to absolute shit.
