What browser are you using that isn’t just a modification of chromium/firefox?

Honest question. All i know about are only forks that basically do the same thing as the scripts try to do.

Sorry, I should have made my comment more clear. I didn’t mean that I would use one of the big two before using the scripts but rather, I would use a fork that’s officially maintained before I maintain the changes myself while using a browser that I know is trying to do things I don’t want it to do. As mentioned on the developer’s page:

      Do the settings stay applied?

Yes, as long as the web browsers continue to support the settings used in the configuration files. Web browsers occasionally add, remove, or replace the settings options, so if the custom configuration breaks, try installing the latest available version.

Which I foresee as being an issue that something quits working but either you’re not sure why(script/browser/site/etc.) or it breaks and you don’t know it, allowing some background process that you’re not aware is happening.

Rather than maintain my own alterations to a browser with anti-features, I by far prefer to use a browser(in my case, Librewolft for lin/win and Ironfox for Android) that is kept up-to-date and maintained/improved upon without my input.
