The amount of highly radioactive waste a nuclear plant produces is not a lot in comparison to nuclear. It can be stored safely and even be recycled and used again. Countries in Europe are already doing this, recycling spent fuel and using it again. The tech could be even more advanced and safe if people weren’t scared to death by just hearing the word “nuclear.”
