I am very annoyed at the AI generated startup splash screens, that I now have to look at everytime.I introduced and advocated for Jetbrains IDEs and YouTrack in my company, because Jetbrains genera...

I always preferred to use JetBrains IDEs, but the new ai-slop splash screen annoyed me and made me question weather should I continue using their products or not.

I dont know when they started using AI for art, but the new AI splash screen is disgusting, the previous code-generated splash screens made up of simple geometry shapes looked much better.

What options do I have now?

VScodium is good, but python support wasnt as good as VScode last time I used it, because official extensions didnt work. But flutter works well, so maybe VScodium?

    I dropped my subscribtion the moment the AI bullshit started, and keep using my perpetual/fallback license for the version before that.

    Once you pay for a year, you can keep using that years version indefinitely, save money and as a bonus you don’t get more AI shit stuffed in your throat.
