I’ll start: RSS and blogs, news vs. social media XMPP vs. WhatsApp/FB messenger/Snapchat IRC vs. Matrix, Teams, Discord etc. Forums vs. Social media, Reddit, Lemmy(?)
minus-squareStefanAmarislinkfedilink5•1 year agoFresh RSS is what I use, self hosted and the mobile web interface negates the need for an app. Though there is an app, I’m not a fan of it After getting burned by Google killing Reader I decided to never use a 3rd party service again, and FreshRSS has served me well for years.
