It’s a small QOL suggestion, a “Previous” and “Next” comment button when traversing through comments. I used to use RIF prior to coming to Lemmy Sync and always liked being able to jump from comment to comment.
Bottom navigation styleThis navigation element inside the posts has that(but if you don’t use the Bottom Nav… I have no idea) I think it would be good to add it to any view.(Hah, I used the wrong words. Sorry about that!)

FWIW - it’s not the Bottom Nav that does it. I was wrong about the names of the elements involved. I think it’s just a typical post/comment browser element that lets you do that, and the Bottom Nav is for the feeds.

Either way, you can long-press any of the 3 spots - instead of “next comment up” it’s “aaaallll the way up”, same for the down a comment/all the way down, and the middle icon lets you change the comment sort type.
