Maybe someone can help

We have a Windows 11 Client running VMware Horizon client trying to connect to our Horizon Server. When ever trying to establish a connection or using the update client feature the application hangs with no error message. the only way to close it is by forcing windows to terminate the process.

following error messages in the VDM Logs are noticeable:

2023-08-23T09:38:26.999+02:00 EROR (01) [libcdk] : CdkUtil_GenerateDHKeyPair:3649: DH generate key failed. 2023-08-23T09:38:26.999+02:00 EROR (01) [libcdk] : CdkUtil_GenerateDHKeyPair:3658: Failed to generate DH key pair with error: error:2D073087:FIPS routines:FIPS_drbg_init:selftest failure. 2023-08-23T09:38:26.999+02:00 EROR (01) [libcdk] : CdkCryptoTaskRenewKeyParameters:271: Failed to renew the DH key pair. 2023-08-23T09:38:26.999+02:00 EROR (01) [libcdk] : CdkCryptoTask_CreateKeyParametersNode:502: Failed to renew the necessary key info.

I tried to completely reinstall horizon client, updated to the newest version (2306) but the error still persists.

any help to narrow down the problem appreciated (i already opened a VMware case and will keep this post updated)
