Genuinely curious. Why do you like LLMs? What hopes do you have for AI & AGI in our near and distant future?

They are incredibly good at boring repetitive refactoring, creating classes based on a SQL table etc. If you post in an article they can summarize it or extract specific information really well. People often complain they don’t get facts right but that’s not what they’re for.

I think agentic tooling is going to take us to some very sci-fi looking territory. Semantic computation is the future.
They’re super useful.
