minus-squareaes linkfedilink1•1 year agoThen just write proprietary code. Open source philosophy to me seems about creation for a “greater good”. What’s the point if you’re not even going to be open? The organisation just becomes a massive corporation like any other at that point.
The literal point of GPL is that Oracle is explicitly entitled to do exactly that. You don’t own the code.
