They are 100% attempting to emotionally manipulate you when they sell the insurance. I have gotten a quote from one of these places, and the phone call was lots of “What would happen if you couldn’t afford XXXX’s vet care?”
Annoyingly, all of the pet insurance products are basically the same underlying policy, so there is basically no competition either.
Yep. I used to go through RSPCA because I figured that it was probably doing some good, but I realised that it’s just them allowing their brand to be licensed so they can sell an allianz product just like all the rest. I just donate directly to the RSPCA now.
