Final Fantasy IX Remake has been rumored for a while now but a new announcement might tease its reveal happening soon.
Square Enix has been rumored to be working on remakes of their classic Final Fantasy games. They had great success in remaking Final Fantasy VII, and they are also working on bringing some of their classic games to modern platforms
It will be interesting to see what style of remake they use for this title. I personally would like it to look like DragonQuest XI but I know I’m in a minority with that request. :(
