    Yes, but it’s the only place I converse with people whose first language is English.

      Which is fine. That doesn’t mean one or the other (curve vs curb) is more correct, English is a living language and as such constantly changes.

      Edit: I’d also like to re-emphasize that the internet is not homogeneous.

        Or one is wrong and people need to stop using it instead of being ignorant. Like saying I itched myself. Tacky.

          If that makes you feel better about yourself, I guess? This is much more akin to “flick off” vs “flip off” with regards to the gesture of sticking up your middle finger at someone as an insult. There is no right or wrong as both are widely used and understood to mean the same thing.
