minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink7•9 months agoYou’re not wrong but there isn’t a domesticated animal or plant that we haven’t selectively breed so the traits we want to see more of aren’t expressed more prominately.

Sheep didn’t evolve to require it by the constant shaving, farmers would have likely selected for highly producing animals if anything.
