minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish-3•1 year agoNope. Most services lock you out after 3 failed password attempts for 10-15 minutes. Password cracking would take centuries at that rate. It worked in the 90s when you could pound the severs for hours/days before even being noticed. Now you’ll just get auto IP banned.
When possible I use passphrases with numbers added. Sadly my bank has a 16 character limit.
