Why are all the #peertube instances defederated from each other? @fediverse Has there been drama over there or something?
minus-squaredonald harvey kimberlin IIlinkfedilink11•4 months ago@Shkshkshk @fediverse My guess/experience. - several spam attackes in the last few years led to a lot of defederation of poorly moderated instances. - opt in federation model combined with lazy and/or overworked sysops - desire to curate the recent videos feed by excluding possibly problematic federation partners.
