My mom was super pissed when Country Crock announced they were making plant based butter. She threw a straight up hissy fit about it and wouldn’t even budge when I told her the Country Crock that she has been buying for decades has always been plant based.

It’s like when all the chuds loved the Colbert Report because they thought he was super republican. Took a while before they realized it was satire.
A significantly large portion of their audience will be mad about this. They are told what to be mad about, not validate it
