Serious question - sometimes I say things like “they’re being a silly monkey.” Do I need to stop?
Do you say that towards a group of Black people? Then yeah, probably.
Do you say it to a bunch of kids acting silly? Then no, you’re probably good

Because after swine flu, the CDC decided to stop naming diseases after animals. The pork industry got really fussy about it because sales dropped a lot.
The monkey meat industry really dodged a bullet there. /jk
