    Idk. The earliest I can find threadiverse mentioned is just last month. Threads started development in January, and is actually called Threads.

    It’s an unfortunate term to coin and isn’t appearnt as to what it’s referring to.

      Until last week, we all knew the product now called “Threads” as “Project 92” or “Project 93.” People started calling the threaded part of the Fediverse the “threadiverse” before anyone knew anything about what Meta’s activity pub enabled project was. I’ve been talking about the “threadiverse” as kbin and lemmy for a while, and will likely continue to do so until this becomes a consistent confusion with people because this is the first time I’ve run into this particular confusion
