I have always been fond of 6add9 chords because they wrap you in a warm blanket on a trip to dreamland. lol

      I mean… you can’t ignore its sedative quality, but it has been very much overused by indie pop artists and lost its meaning. We need a break from maj7 for a while.

    I like sus2 chords. With a sus4 chord, even if I hear it in isolation without context, like if I just pulled out a guitar and played an Asus4, I feel the 4th wanting to resolve down the major 3rd. If I did the same thing with an Asus2, it sounds like it’s own lovely, complete thing to me.

      Asus2 is A B E which rearranged is A E B going around the circle of fifths. That may be why.
