    Prometheus is popular for metrics, so we bundled it. Just like Jaeger, Istio, LinkerD and KNative.

    Why istio AND Linkerd?

      Turn them on or off with one command. Or bring your own addon if you like.

      I think you can choose one or the other (or both if you like). It may make sense to include both since LinkerD is getting very popular nowadays while Istio is “the standard.”
