This adds an additional option, alongside Github Sponsors, Liberapay and in-app donations.

Random Community Button

Find new communities, randomly! Pull to refresh to find a new random one with ease.

Launch native app if available

Currently, if you tap a Youtube link, it will open Youtube in the in-app browser. (And same with news apps, etc.) Now, by default, it will open the app, if installed.

You can easily flip this off in Settings to get the old behavior (“Prefer Opening Native Apps”).

Shortcut to copy text

If you want to copy all post/comment text, there is now a handy copy icon in the header of the sheet!

Android navbar style updates

I’ve tweaked Android navbar styles to make them a little nicer.

iOS Cache Clearing

You can now clear iOS cache for Voyager (native app only). Please note: It will not clear everything - iOS seems to keep 100mb around, without a way to clear. Other apps I checked seem to have the same issue.

    Hello there newly freed 1.8GB. Hoping this helps with the frequent reloading Voyager has been doing lately.

    Edit: nope, still reloaded after loading a few dozen posts over the course of an hour or so.

    Thanks for all the hard work! (This is genuine, wanted to clarify after adding my edit)

        14 pro, 17.4. To clarify, when I say it reloads, the app blanks and then loads the default screen (home in my case). This is relatively new behavior that persists through phone restarts and force-quitting the app. Was present on 17.3 at least, not sure what Voyager version this popped up on. I want to say that this replaced other apps reloading more frequently when Voyager was open for awhile but I have nothing concrete.

        Regarding the cache, it only increased about 50MB between clearing and the next forced reload.

          Hmm. The good news is that this issue is known and the ionic/stencil team is looking into it.

          The bad news, I don’t think it should be reloading that often. By reloading do you mean coming back from the background, or while you’re browsing?

            While browsing. The most recent event was tapping on a post in All, and got booted back to Home.

            One recent change that happened on my end was that I added third instance to the user menu. Not sure if that would exacerbate the known issue or not.

    Awesome! Ill be supporting soon please make a couple different tiers like $2 $10 and $15. How do you make that button so it shows Patreon with the number of supporters?
