Do you use any decntrlised storage? If yes could you recommend any?

    What do you mean when you say “decentralized”?

    AWS S3 is stored in data centres all over the planet for example.

    The fediverse is stored in servers all over the planet too.

    If you set up accounts on a dozen different servers, owned by different companies in different countries, that too is all over the planet.

    Is it storage that you need to spread, or ownership, and if so, why?

    I’m asking because each country has different laws about storage requirements and access to the data in case of … insert random reason … as well as different liabilities etc.

    So, what are you actually asking?

      Maybe some blockchain stuff. IIRC Session stores user data in some such way in the Loki network.

    Have you looked at IPFS? I used it to host a small site just to see how it works, it’s pretty neat.

    Just be mindful decentralization doesn’t inherently mean there is privacy.
