    I don’t think it’s even on purpose anymore. Americans have just drunk too much of the “car culture” kool-aid that they can’t imagine a world where you could do something simple like go to the store without a car.

        Yeah but we non-car folks are definitely rare in the US, at least for the 30+ crowd. I think the younger gens are more anti car which is great

          Yeah, very few of my friends, family, and coworkers use anything other than a motor vehicle as primary transportation.
