Cannot imagine being on that ship, unable to stop, or being on that bridge this morning. Really hoping that there are some survivors, but given the time since the collapse, I think we’ll be hearing more about victims.
With the ship barreling toward the bridge at “a very, very rapid speed,” authorities had just enough time to stop cars from coming over the bridge, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore said.
They rescued at least 2 people from the water according to NBC, one in serious condition, the other released at the scene. Looks like at least 6 more missing though.

Now with the addage: Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
That’s some intense stupidity. Hope everyone involved is alive and uninjured.
