    These companies make and sell the things you buy. Pretending it’s nothing to do with consumers is so disingenuous

        Yes, a lot of people buy tobacco and so have a role in that industry’s harmful practices. And no, nobody buys asbestos.

          Are you being obtuse for any particular reason?

          The reason nobody buys asbestos is because it’s regulated by government, as is tobacco and while we’re at it, most of the rest of society…

          Regulating the 57 companies responsible for 80% of emissions since 2016 is a way to effect change at a significantly faster rate than any other option.
