Keffals has stirred up plenty of controversy. The pattern is strong enough that I can call her a problematic influencer regardless of her identity. It’s not right to unconditionally call transphobia when certain individuals who happen to be transgender are rightfully criticised for being absolutely awful.

It boggles my mind why one would lump the likes of Keffals or Chris Chan with normal trans people. It would only hurt the cause of the social group if they got preferential treatment over others, especially if the bad bunch got a pass for their bad behavior.

I also think it’s bullshit to ignore the fact she had to move across the world due to harassment because she is Trans. The same people making videos about her today are the same people who were making them back then before she started being “problematic” and at the end of the day there are 500 other infuencers who are worse than she is and these people aren’t making videos about them… I wonder why these people single her out… couldn’t possibly be transphobia… yeah ok

Does that mean she’s immune to criticism? I’m not sure what any of that changes in this situation, to be honest.

Who on YouTube isn’t bullshitting to some degree or another?
