I thought that bug was related to cross-saves, not cloud saves?
EDIT: It might have been related to both, based on the reddit bug thread. But this note was in the first Hotfix list:
Disabled Larian Account cross-saves temporarily to solve an issue blocking loads and saves. Steam cross-saves are unaffected.
From my personal experience – I never had an issue with saves, and I never disabled cloud saves. HOWEVER, my Steam cloud sync hasn’t been working. The game works fine and I have no issues with saving in the game, but my saves fail when Steam tries to sync it to the cloud.
Have either of the hotfixes fixed the bug where you couldn’t save or load with cloud saves? Can I turn those back on yet?

Cross saves are cloud saves.
You’re right. I was confused about the Larian account cross-save vs the Steam cross-save
I have been using the cloud save.
