To hide the fact that Larry and Brin to this day are true heads of Google. Sundar does not mean anything. Same way, Satya Nadella means nothing, and Bill Gates to this day controls Microsoft (and is on WEF board).
Any Indian or Asian figurehead is just for optics employed by Western companies to pretend inclusiveness. The underlying goal is still the same as what CIA/WEF/IMF dictate.
