I love ESA, I much prefer it over GDQ as ESA still feels a lot more organic.

GDQ has been feeling a bit manufactured and corporate for a while now, so discovering ESA was great for me, it feels a lot like GDQ used to!

I still enjoy GDQ, don’t get me wrong, but I prefer the sort of, smaller more communal feeling that ESA has :)

I also love BSG (Benelux Speedrunner Gathering), which has a real grassroots feel to it.

All are fantastic events and I thoroughly enjoy watching them and donating where I can.
