The first reaction to this year’s reimagining of the Gothic superhero story, The Crow, has emerged…and things are not looking good. The reaction comes from Cliff Dorfman, the writer behind the likes of Warrior who was attached to the project for years before the studio decided to go in a different direction, who took to social media to declare that The Crow is nothing less than “unwatchable.”
“If hypothetically, one happened to see a screening of @TheCrow_Movie #thecrow which @Lionsgate is releasing in August, one might say, it’s horrible, it’s unwatchable, don’t waste your money, or can’t believe it’s so much worse than the original. It is. And don’t.”
Sour grapes or just speaking the truth? We’ll have to wait and see.
Yeah. I don’t follow this guy but he can’t be unbiased about this. Doesn’t mean he’s wrong, of course.
I obviously know the sentiment that everyone has about this reboot, but people are desperate to hate on the film for clicks.
