The term “therian” is used to describe individuals who have a spiritual or psychological connection with a specific animal. It is recommended that emphasis be placed on the spiritual or psychological connection that an individual may have with a specific animal.
Kemonomimi is a phenomenon whereby individuals are born with traits that are commonly associated with specific animals, such as dogs or cats. Such individuals typically exhibit a preference for wearing only ears and a tail. Not suits like a Furry. Some individuals may simply feel at ease with their current appearance, without any recollection of past traits.
In my estimation, I exhibit a number of traits that are similar to those of a husky. These include a tendency towards high levels of activity, a tendency towards high levels of excitement, and a tendency towards high levels of vocalization. Furthermore, I am prone to vocal outbursts, which can occur at any time of the day or night. This results in a more tranquil and contented state of mind. Additionally, I experience a sudden onset of intense hyperactivity at approximately 1 a.m., which manifests as a compelling urge to vocalize or make some type of noise. If I do not express this feeling, I experience a state of intense physical distress. Additionally, my voice becomes highly pitched and accelerated in speed.

In the same way that BDSM represents at least 80% of the LGBT community (see: leather pride flag), furries and the like probably represent a similar portion. (I might be a rare exception as someone who isn’t currently a furry, but I do wear cat ears sometimes.) There are furry pride flag designs with a paw in the center, which I think look better than your design. I realize the ears and tail probably represent a broader range of diversity (like the progress pride flag vs the gay pride flag) but symbol recognition is important when so few furry-adjacent pride flags are currently flown (at least in the spaces I frequent).
Yeah it confuses me because LGBTQ is known for being accepting. Though totally I understand if flag specifically for Furries actually. It makes decent sense. Like just how you said, there’s this flag representing a broad spectrum. While furries have their own flag being under the same umbrella.
Just from a vexillological perspective the flag needs some work. Cgp gray has a good series on flags and what makes them good and bad.
The paw is a great example. It’s instantly readable and isn’t overly complex. It’s always going to feel like clip art unless it’s worked into the design somehow, though. Good luck.
